Although Transitions and Family Orientation are separate programs, they run concurrently for your convenience. Spend the night on campusTransitions offers an optional Overnight Program for students and family members the evening prior to your Transitions day program. Experience Western’s residence halls, enjoy dinner with our Orientation Student Advisors, connect with WWU faculty and staff and get a jump start on meeting other new WWU students and families. If you cannot attend TransitionsIf you cannot attend Transitions, you are encouraged to participate in Transitions Make-Up on Friday, September 12. This program does not include an Overnight Program or Family Orientation, and there may be limited availability in some academic departments due to reduced summer staffing.
