Prepare to Register for Classes
Western students register for classes online using Web4U at www.wwu.edu/web4u. Registration each quarter occurs in three phases - your fall class registration will occur during Phase I in mid-September. Exact registration times are scheduled in descending-credit order. To determine your exact registration time, first you must know the total number of accepted transfer credits you have or will have by mid-September. Then visit the registration schedule at http://www.wwu.edu/depts/registrar/registration_schedule.html to find your exact time.
Before registering for classes, we encourage you to visit the Transfer Student Advising Web site at http://www.wwu.edu/advising/transferstudent.shtml or contact Academic Advising at 360-650-3850 or email. For advising in your major, or if the classes you want have restrictions, please contact the appropriate academic department. A departmental directory can be found at http://west.wwu.edu/wwu/subpage.aspx?index=214.
Complete registration instructions are available at http://www.wwu.edu/depts/registrar/web_registration.shtml. If you have any questions or experience difficulty with your registration process, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 360-650-3430.
