Summerstart 2009
Summerstart is Western's orientation, advising and course registration program for new freshmen. During Summerstart you will meet with helpful faculty and student advisors, learn about academic expectations and requirements, register for fall quarter classes, and become familiar with important campus resources. You also stay overnight in the Nash or Mathes residence halls, and begin building friendships with other WWU students.
Summerstart is a 2-day program. In order to register successfully for your classes, you must attend both days of Summerstart. Eight sessions are available throughout August:
"Summerstart was a great opportunity for me to get to know the campus more. It was only my second time on the campus and I feel comfortable finding classes and functioning successfully at WWU."
