Directions to WWU Campus

From Interstate 5, take Exit 252: Samish Way / WWU
Follow Western Washington University direction signs to
Bill McDonald Parkway (left off Samish Way) and left over I-5
Pass Sehome High School on left
Proceed forward to the Visitor Information Center, located in
the Campus Services building, for a campus map and parking information

Visitor Parking Tips

When visiting campus parking is available:

In a lot reserved for a special event, when attending that event
In an assigned lot, after purchasing a visitor permit at the Visitor Information Center or the Parking Services Office,Mon- Fri 7:15am-8pm
In metered spaces, located throughout campus, with meter payment of $2.00 an hour
Without a permit in the C lots on the southern edge of campus on weekends and between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. on weekdays (Refer to the signs at lot entrances)
In designated campus lots after 5 p.m. (or 7 p.m. if other wise posted) on weekdays or on weekends when you do one of the following:
- Pay one dollar per hour at the blue pay box machines
- Display a valid parking permit for any lot
- Display a Viking Xpress bus pass on your dashboard

To assist you with parking while visiting Western our office has put together the following tips. We hope these suggestions help you find your way on campus and make your trips to Western a pleasant experience.

There are various free 20 minute load zones for passenger pick up around campus. Look for these load zones near the following residence halls (see campus parking map; zones subject to change due to construction):

Buchanan Towers (1R)
Delta (15R)
Edens Service Road
Fairhaven (12A)
Higginson (5G)
Kappa (15R)
Mathes Turn Around
Nash Turn Around
Omega (15R)
Sigma (15R)
