Welcome to Western!
Kick off your academic year during Fall Orientation! Participate in a weeklong series of informative, fun, and engaging activities to help you begin your Western experience. You’ll meet other students, build connections with faculty and staff, and explore ways to become more involved in your new campus and community.
Fall Orientation kicks off on Saturday, September 21 with the Out-of-State Student Dinner. While many Fall Orientation activities are geared toward new first-year and transfer students, most activities are open to any Western student. Events such as study skills, career planning, and finance management workshops, bus and bike tours of Bellingham, outdoor movies and the Red Square Info Fair offer something for everyone.
