Welcome

Engaging in local issues, and providing service in the local community, is one aspect of the tripartite outlined in Western Washington University’s mission statement, Engaged Excellence.  As stated in the mission statement, “Western creates opportunities to display leadership, civic engagement, social responsibility and effective citizenship.”   This site will assist you in learning more about quarterly service-project opportunities and how you can get involved.

You are invited to participate in Western’s contributions to the following national days of service:
 -  Make a Difference Day, October 27, 2007
 -  Martin Luther King Day, January 21, 2008 and
 -  Earth Day, April 19, 2007
